		<description>Terran General Strategy:
I played about 100 league games in the SC2 Beta, made it to gold league, which is ok. If you are interested, the following is a few tips about Terran vs toss, terran, and zerg... please comment if you have any suggestions on improvements, or any suggestions at all... i hope this helps.

TvT
Terran vs Terran is a matchup that you have to be very good economically in. Terran vs Terran obviously involved 2 races with the same units. Any race vs same race match up is very influenced and even decided based on economy.
Generally, going armored units vs terran is a very bad idea, since marauders rip them apart, and so do tanks. So, expand early vs terran, and use lots of marines, and get banshees early. make sure you get tanks to easily fend off any land units that terran spits out. Terran players often like to drop in behind ur base with medivacs, get a bunker and or turrets to stop this.
TvZ
I found againts zerg to be quite hard. Usually zerg players go for baneling rushes, own your wall and kill everything. which pisses me off. But this strat really is only efficient if the player, zerg player, expands very early, before their spawning pool.. so, as a terran player, you must go mech. get only 4 marines and a bunker, and after that, dont make men out of ur bunker until later on. Keep the opponent base constantly scouted to see what units you need to counter. Zerg players who go roaches vs terran are stupid. own them with tanks and marauders.
Anyway, get 4 rines, then rush to factory. get hellions. Hellions rape lings and do great damage vs hydras, which forces the zerg player into roaches, which is terrans specialty. so, vs zerg, get hellions, and then banshees asap, constantly harass, and dont forget to expand. Zergling/baneling rushes are easily stopped with hellions.

TvP
Toss is quite hard to beat as terran, their units are very strong but are very expensive. you must take advantage of this. a good strategy vs toss is to go infantry. dont tech heavily, dont get mech units much till late game, focus on marines, marauders, and GHOSTS, immortals especially do no live long vs EMP. micro well, and expand especially early because toss, if out economied, is a easy kill, but not easy to do. banshees are a problem for toss also.

General.
When starting your game, get a supply depot at 9 supply, while the depot is being built, reach 10 supply via another scv, make a barracks, send the depot scv to scout, and make a few more scvs during the barracks construction as well as a refinery. make sure you make a wall. this is basic terran strategy... get an orbital command asap.

How to beat :
Zerg:
Hellions
Mech

Protoss:
Ghosts
EMP
Air

Terran:
Tanks
Rines
Air

I hope this helps... just stating what ive learned throughout the beta. cant wait to play it for real!!!
